The following is the Governor's sharing the wealth proposal in his budget. He wants to raise corporate taxes, but not for the general fund or for public safety. He wants the funds so the State can provide grants (free money) to college bound students, some of which could be illegal aliens.
A lot of colleges and universities charge tuition for providing an education. They take the surplus, in many cases, and invest it. If they aren't doing this, where is the money going? This State's colleges are crying poor mouth, and yet the tuition they charge never goes down, but rises more than the rate of inflation.
I highly recommend looking at your respective State budgets and see where your money is going.
